Hi there, my name is Mila, I am a doula located in Nelson, BC and I am here to support and empower you through your incredible journey of pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I founded Kootenay Womb Wisdom with a passion for supporting expectant parents with warmth, non judgment, knowledge and a whole lot of heart.

I am here to cater to your specific and unique needs throughout your journey, whether you are just starting to plan, it is your first pregnancy, you are adding another little one to your family, or you are looking for a different experience. I will help guide you throughout this special and transformative time in your life.

My own journey into birth work began during my pregnancy with my daughter, where I experienced an unplanned cesarean birth. This transformative experience ignited my commitment to supporting others during this pivotal time in their lives.

I am passionate about helping you have a positive experience, creating a safe space where you feel confident in making decisions that feel right for you and your family. Your birth experience is uniquely yours, and I'm here to honor your choices with respect and understanding
